Google started to allow video advertisments today in the adwords network. I’m very excited about this form of advertising because it’s a non-intrusive way to gain customers.
What happens is google places a small thumbnail image of the video on the advertisers web page. When someone clicks on that image, the video advertisement will load. The thing that’s so great about this, is that when the user clicks on the video, it means you have their attention.
The conversion rates on these videos are going to be pretty high depending on the content of your video, but I can promise that if you set it up with a benefit rich video, you’ll have such high conversion it will shock you.
I’m thinking of using this for http://www.link-blaster.com once the “free to join” stage has expired. I need a high converting advertisment to garner lots of clients for that program.
